WHO Cares? Apparently not this committee

In a committee meant to address the collapse of healthcare in Sudan, what stood out most was the lack of urgency and unity. Delegates showed little engagement, often ignoring repeated calls from the dais to participate. The silence in the room echoed louder than any proposed solution.

Instead of collaboration, delegates appeared more focused on their national image than on solving a global crisis. At times, the discussion felt like an obligation rather than a mission. Points of Inquiry were left untouched, speeches lacked substance, and passion was nowhere to be found.

If the healthcare system in Sudan depends on this committee’s action, it might be quicker to train tortoises to deliver medicine. The phrase “United Nations” felt more symbolic than real, as very few showed any effort to live up to its name.

This session left us wondering if anyone in the room truly cared or if we are all just here for the placards and an illusion of purpose.
