Is anybody there? Why is it so quiet? Or am I just in the HUNSC committee room?

HUNSC felt less like a committee and more like a post-apocalyptic town. Empty, dry, and painfully silent. The delegate of the USA was making valid points and received many table taps throughout the committee. Honestly, only the USA, USSR, and France brought up genuine points to solve the resolution, while the rest of the committee? Speaking once in a blue moon, perhaps thinking about what flavours of wingstop they’re going to get for dinner.
Then there was Cuba, who was delivering statements like she had licked a live wire, or perhaps ate one of Von’s dreads. The highlight (or lowlight?) was her wild claim that all Italians should kill themselves. Quite the shocking, unfiltered take. I wonder who put pineapples on her pizza this
morning.
Although the delegate of USSR did make valid points and contribute to the agenda (bare minimum I fear..), he was quite unsure with his own speeches. Constantly asking the chair for help with the professional terms to be used during MUN, almost every single minute. I guess the study guide went to get some milk.
With Italians offended, and the room filled with voices of 2 decibels, you could almost hear the diplomacy unraveling.
