UNODC: WHERE ALL YOU’LL FIND IS INCOMPETENCY AND LACK OF AWARENESS

The UNODC committee continues to redefine their levels of incompetency with every passing

session. What was supposed to be a platform for diplomatic excellence instead turned into a

chaotic mix of confusion, indecision, and pure embarrassment. From their utter inability to

function under pressure to their sad attempts at maintaining order, the committee has once again proved that professionalism is clearly optional.

Starting off with the delegate of Mexico, where no one even knows where to begin! All this delegate did was constantly switch between playing a volunteer and a delegate, per his convenience. His informal way of speaking, and calling the press useless only added to his unserious behavior. This delegate couldn’t even recognize his own national anthem without help from external members. Representing a country without even knowing your own anthem? This can only be found in UNODC.

Stay tuned, it only gets worse. This committee was as lost as Malaysia’s flight 370. The

committee literally began violently table tapping, to the PRESS’ question. How is one THAT

distracted, distracted enough to blindly table tap just because press delegates were table tapping. This only proves that the delegates here clearly don't use their own mind, but the instant they hear a table tap, they without thinking, just tap back, highlighting their extreme lack of awareness towards the committee.

The cherry on top was when the delegate of Columbia started fighting with the delegate of

Mexico, DURING the press conference. This committee calls themselves advanced but could not even keep up their fake unity and teamwork for the sake of the press conference? They couldn’t avoid their immature argument for five minutes? This says a lot about the insane incompetency of this committee.
