FUSS- Like, Literally!

Our beloved committee, the Futuristic United States Senate —FUSS— supposedly, an
advanced committee, seemed to be more unproductive than the beginner ones!
Starting off, delegate Barac Laden, was interrupted by the dais, or his inappropriate use of
informal language during formal committee session. I mean.. really? Its the second day of MUN
and you still don’t know how to speak formally? I truly wish this was an exaggeration but really,
the senator was stopped THREE times consecutively and was asked to fix his language.
Despite raising a motion himself, senator Laden pleaded to go last to speak, but alas was forced by the chairs to go first with a “no delegate, you raised the motion so you HAVE to go first”.
The unproductivity of the committee was.. sad in fact. Their crisis was about tackling Virexia 69
implementing bio-security measures. Despite begging for a lot of time, the committee failed to
deliver their crisis directive. It had reached a low point where the dais finally got annoyed and
said “what are you guys doing”. They even received insults like “an intermediate comm is doing
better than you guys” from their own chair. After constantly asking for 5 and 10 minutes worth of unmoderated caucuses again and again, the committee had finally wasted THIRTY minutes
finally with no conclusion.
How is an advanced committee where delegates don’t know how to speak, and have their own
dais insult them supposed to move forward? Honestly, this just highlights that they’re
incompetent and their time management skills are lower than the Titanic itself.
