HUNSC has been a rollercoaster…of blame games. The delegates seem more keen on personally attacking each other rather than stopping the militant groups in Trieste from seizing the uranium and putting actual LIVES in danger. Especially the Delegate of USSR, who hasn’t passed up on a single opportunity to bring up Italy’s irresponsibility. He pretty much centred most of his speeches on personal attacks, and Canada proceeded to give a whole speech attempting to embarrass USSR by questioning his intentions. This further lead to USSR claiming that 'personally attacking one another' was the whole point of debate. While they were busy 'debating', the Delegate of Italy rightly expressed his concerns about the Italians dying.

This committee seemed more interested in who USSR insulted, rather than the very serious matter at hand—well except for Japan, who seems to be the only rational country with the simple motive of peace. Perhaps these delegates should consider putting aside their grudges and genuinely listen to each other; that is if USA hasn’t ruptured their eardrums already with his excessively loud and aggressive speeches.

Signing off,
