SINGAPORE, Singapore – The ECOSOC debate on universal currency today proved less about global finance and more about peculiar parliamentary moments. While actual solutions remained elusive, the delegate from the USA provided unexpected entertainment, dancing for using "I."

Progress, however, was stubbornly stationary. Despite the high stakes, delegates preferred describing what a universal currency "looks like" over how it might actually function.

The USA then declared "no global currency!" only to immediately suggest everyone "just use the dollar!". This contradiction did not escape China, who sharply questioned how resisting centralization simultaneously meant centralizing power under the USD.

The session devolved into a humorous ping-pong of conflicting ideals. It seems that while a universal currency might eventually unite the world, ECOSOC, for now, remains delightfully fragmented.
