Amidst a moderated caucus about the US dollar as a dominating universally recognised currency, the last few minutes of the day appeared to be a few speeches from multiple countries bashing the dominance of the US dollar in the international market.
What I didn't expect of this moderated caucus was Saudi Arabia's speech. It started with a will to implement Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and calling out the delegate of the USA about their speech about the usage of US dollars as a universal currency. But things took a stark, unprofessional turn when he was asked a POI—the delegate of Saudi Arabia responded using personal pronouns, and when told by the chair about it, he began to dance.
This press delegate hopes that the delegate of Saudi Arabia fulfils their dancing urges in the dinner & dance today, and does not have any uncalled-for outbursts in future sessions.
