The delegates of CNPC were at it, discussing their crisis in full fervour. The Qing Royal envoy Chee H bai, was found dead by Hakka troops in the battalion.
Both sides put up substantial arguments around the crisis, putting the blame on the other sides, but mentioning valid points nonetheless. The empire used grounded logic to defend themselves; like there was no way the victim dies by suicide, having ben stabbed 8 times. Who's stabbing themself 8 times folks?
The delegates of the empire also questioned why someone would go to the woods to suicide, their main argument. The ink used to write the note was NOT the royal ink either.
The Taiping side brought up justifiable points as well, heightening the tension in the committee by a thousand fold. Judge Han, in his speech, brought up the constitution of the Ching empire and mentioned how conventionally, torture was justified in the document. He also went on to assure a democratic government for the people. This side also brought up the fact that there was only one pair of footprints on the premises and that only Ching soldiers present in the vicinity when they found the victim.
Overall the crisis, an important issue needed to be solved to move forward, was being handled exceedingly well by both sides and the delegates are doing exceptionally well, showing how they can handle any situation— be it a “murder” or “suicide”.
