UNSC unleashed: Informality takes over the ROP

Yes, you heard me right. This committee never stops treating formal sessions like a school reunion after a long years of hard work, which is ironic considering the fact that many delegates are genuinely laid back and seemingly couldn't care less and are unbothered about the rest, confirmed by the delegate of Iran replying to a similar POI by saying “hell yeah!” in full confidence, which was followed by most of the room table tapping in agreement.

Delegates constantly using informal language when not framing their statements right and phrases like “hell no” and “yo” to address any delegate or consensus is mind boggling. This behaviour portrays them as immature teens who love to ramble out of sheer boredom rather than delegates ready to bore the brunt of representing a whole nation, which is not what is expected from representatives of countries with such an agenda.

Repetitive cross talking amongst them during formal sessions and nonsensical giggling doesn’t make their current state any better. If their current immature and informal nature doesn’t change for the better, who knows how long it would take for them to solve their first agenda?
