The One where a Follow Request was Pending-UNHRC

UNHRC seemed to be the most united and jolly committee. From the numerous pickup lines being passed around to the unauthorized crosstalk, buzz was in the air. In such a committee, there’s bound to be some tea.

Most countries were clear on the concept of humanitarian corridors, for different reasons, however. Kazakhstan wanted no-conflict zones, while Iraq wanted a route for the delivery of aid and resources. France seemed to be passionate, which is, anyway, what they’re known for, about ways to bring peace through rather unconventional methods like dropping air bombs. They even had a banter with Iran to request the provision of aircraft. On a serious note, France also suggested a Geneva Convention to protect humanitarian workers.

Egypt seemed to have a tumultuous journey in the committee session. At first, they had actually suggested some quite interesting ideas, like creating aid rules with the help of the Red Cross and taking global funds for more impoverished countries. Then they were only given 9 seconds to give a passionate speech on the opposition of sanctions. Finally, they disrupted the session for a mere follow-up request. Guess Egypt also became a culprit of Insta.

Most of the delegates asked questions that were not relevant to the Iranian war but rather other wars. Somehow, pandemonium occurred over a shoulder dislocation. Overall, the solutions seem to be clear, although there seems to be some water under the bridge, especially considering how Israel swiftly ignored a question on Palestine.
