Sanctions, Solutions, And Sidequests…

The UNHRC committee continued discussing humanitarian aid, and

this session had a mix of serious debate with a few funny moments.

The delegate of Kazakhstan shared their country's perspective on

sanctions, explaining how they can affect nations in different ways. It

added another side to the discussion and reminded everyone that

sanctions aren't always as simple as they sound.

The delegate of France suggested using airdrops to deliver

humanitarian aid to Iran so that people could continue receiving

essential supplies and maintain their well-being. The proposal was

practical and focused on helping civilians. Although, for a tiny moment,

the delegate seemed more connected to Instagram than the

committee session. But the priorities were restored.

The delegate of Turkey also highlighted that it has always supported

humanitarian aid and continues to stand by that position. The delegate

emphasized that helping people should remain the main goal, no

matter the political situation.

Overall, the debate stayed focused on finding solutions instead of

creating more problems. Different countries brought different ideas,

but they all shared one message: humanitarian aid should reach the

people who need it most. Everyone seemed more focused on

resolutions.
