WHAT IS WORSE; Losing in Debate or getting Lost on the Map

UNCLOS witnessed a truly unforgettable moment when the Delegate of Saudi Arabia confidently announced that "No one else has proposed solutions." An impressive statement, if only the rest of the committee hadn't spent the previous session doing exactly that.
Fortunately, the Delegate of DPRK was quick to intervene, pointing out that several delegations had already proposed and even begun implementing multiple solutions. It seems the only proposal missing from the room was a pair of noise-cancelling headphones for Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the Delegate of the USA decided to contribute in a different way, by confusing Somalia with Singapore. Geography apparently took a break, leaving concentration to learn to fend for itself. It's always refreshing to know that while delegates are debating international crises, some are still trying to locate countries on the map.
