Formal Session, Informal Vocabulary

Formal committee sessions exist for a reason: composure, precision, control. FHB tested that theory today.

During today’s formal committee session, the delegate of Marshall Wilhelmina didn’t call the situation “critical” or “unsustainable”. No, she decided, “cooked” was the more diplomatically appropriate term during formal committee session. An interesting choice of vocabulary for a formal setting.

Then, channeling her inner quitter, she announced “we actually cannot do anything right now”, giving up on behalf of an entire committee.

She then ends her speech with a heartfelt public confession that she was “freaking out.”

Is this an advanced committee or a group chat with extra steps?
